Cummins 5.9L Bypass Oil Filter "Under the Hood" Kit (1998.5 to 2007)

Parts Included In This Kit

  • 1 EXTREME 2 bypass oil filter housing (HX2SHBK) (HX2SHBLU) (HX2SHRED)
  • 1 EXTREME 2 filter element (EX2ME) with orings (GX1/2)
  • 2 In/Out fittings (AN06-04MS90)
  • 2' 7"' and 4' 5" hose (LW06BK) Notice: Hose ships uncut as a single 7ft continuous length to allow flexible mounting and routing.
  • 1 Under the hood mounting bracket with bolts (UTHU)

Pressure Port

  • 1 Pressure port fitting (AN06-02MS)

Return Port

  • 1 Oil filler cap (FLLCCO) with oring (OCC) and fitting (AN06-02MS90)

Installation:

Important:
Under-the-hood mount not compatible with dual alternators or of if APPS TPS is in the dual alternator position. In this case, you can use frame mount version of this kit seen here.

• Aluminum straight thread fittings are made for no more than 60 inch pounds of torque
